This kitchen, located in Rye, received a full cabinet transformation that completely refreshed the space while preserving the original cabinetry. By refinishing rather than replacing, our team delivered a modern, high-end look with minimal disruption to the home.
The Vision: The goal was to brighten the kitchen while adding contrast and depth. We achieved this with a beautiful two-tone cabinet finish. For the upper cabinets, we used Benjamin Moore White Dove for a clean, timeless feel. For the lower cabinets and the island, we used Benjamin Moore Andes Summit for a bold and grounding contrast.
Our Process: To ensure a factory-smooth finish, our team followed a our signature cabinet refinishing process that includes:
Full removal of cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware
Complete protection of floors, countertops, walls, and surrounding areas
Thorough cleaning and degreasing of all surfaces
Filling, sanding, and caulking to eliminate imperfections
Application of two sprayed coats of Milesi water-based 2K primer
Application of two sprayed coats of Milesi water-based 2K urethane for maximum durability
Reinstallation of doors, drawers, and hardware, followed by a full job-site cleanup
The Result: The finished Rye kitchen feels brighter, more refined, and updated. This was all achieved without the cost or waste of a full remodel. The smooth, sprayed finish and crisp color contrast showcase the level of detail Granite State Painters brings to every cabinet project.
