Matthew Johnson is the owner and co-founder of Granite State Painters. Matt was born and raised on the seacoast of New Hampshire, where he attended Oyster River High School in Durham.  After graduation, Matt went on to study at Colorado Mountain College and Plymouth State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Business Marketing. By working for various different painting companies throughout high school and college, Matt has gained the knowledge and experience that you would expect in your painting professional.

Matt is a very detail-oriented and customer satisfaction focused individual. All employees are interviewed and hired by Matt to ensure that everyone on the Granite State Painters team is not only a friendly, trustworthy individual, but Matt also likes to be part of the employee training process so they will be on the right track to gain the knowledge and experience that he has gained over the years.

When he is not painting or working on his business, you can find him spending time with his wife and daughter, snowboarding, boating, or surfing.
