We at Granite State Painters, know that deciding to paint the interior of your home is a big decision. This is an opportunity for you to add beauty, value, and to show your personality to everyone that enters your home.
As a homeowner, you want to be able to trust the professionals that you hire with the home that you've worked hard for. With that being said, this blog post is dedicated to discussing each individual step that we take during every interior project. All of the professional painters on our team follow these steps.
1.) All areas and furnishings in your home will be protected with drop cloths
2.) All switch plates, door handles, and window hardware will be removed
3.) Any patched holes will be sanded down to a smooth surface
4.) All walls will be wiped down of dirt and dust before painting
5.) Water stains will be treated and primed
6.) All cracks along door jambs, baseboards, crown molding, etc. will be caulked
7.) Wallpaper removal, if necessary
8.) All areas that are to be painted will be specified in the contract
9.) At the end of each day, any debris as a result of work will be cleaned up
10.) All tools will be cleaned up and placed in a location specified by the homeowner
11.) Each room will be put back together to homeowners preferences
12.) Upon completion of the job, a walk around with the homeowner will be conducted to ensure complete customer satisfaction
