Fill-A-Bucket Food Drive Wrap-Up: Thank You for Helping Us Give Back!

This November, our team came together to support Operation Blessing NH through our first-ever Fill-A-Bucket Food Drive — and thanks to our incredible community, it was a huge success!

From November 1 through November 13, our crews collected non-perishable food donations at job sites and at our office in Greenland. Every item donated was matched by Granite State Painters — bucket for bucket — to help local families stock up for Thanksgiving.

What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a team-wide effort. Our painters kept buckets on every job site, and clients filled them with generous donations throughout the two-week drive. We were blown away by the response — including a large donation from our friends at Rings End | Johnson Paint, whose support helped us fill even more buckets than expected.

As donations continued to roll in, we quickly realized we needed more space. Our team set up an overflow area at the shop to hold the extra food that didn’t fit in the job-site buckets. From canned goods and pasta to breakfast items and snacks, every contribution played a part in helping us match full buckets across the Seacoast.

Matching Every Donation — Bucket for Bucket

Once all the client donations were collected, our team went shopping to match every single item — filling the GSP van with over 830 pounds of food. It was incredible to see how much our community helped us gather, and we were proud to match those efforts item for item.

On November 13, our team delivered the donations directly to Operation Blessing NH in Portsmouth. We had the pleasure of meeting with their team and seeing firsthand how these donations will support local families during their Thanksgiving Shop.

Thank You for Making This Possible

We’re so grateful to our clients, partners, and crew members who helped make this year’s Fill-A-Bucket drive such a success. Your generosity helped us donate over 830 pounds of food — making a real difference for families in our community this Thanksgiving.

Together, we filled every bucket… and then some. 💚
