Last week, our team had the privilege of repainting the dining and living room spaces at The Liberty House NH, an organization dedicated to providing a safe, substance-free, and supportive environment for veterans working toward independence. The Liberty House offers transitional housing, daily essentials, and a structured 4-step program that helps veterans rebuild their lives through recovery, wellness, employment, and long-term stability. Contributing to a space that supports their mission was truly meaningful for our team.

When the opportunity arose to refresh their shared spaces, our team knew we wanted to be part of it. Supporting veterans has always been important to us, and this project felt like a meaningful way to give back.
Matt shared a sentiment that guided the entire project: “Without the sacrifice of our veterans, none of us would be doing what we do today — even painting houses. This was a small way for us to say thank you and support our community.” That mindset shaped the entire day and made the project especially special for everyone involved.
Nick, Dylan, and Brody — with help from Matt — spent the day preparing and repainting the Liberty House dining and living room areas. These are the spaces where residents gather every day for meals, meetings, and community, so giving them a fresh, clean look felt especially meaningful. The team took care in each step of the process, from prep to final coat, making sure the rooms felt brighter, warmer, and ready for the veterans who use them.

The Liberty House team was incredibly gracious and shared thoughtful feedback after the project was completed. Hearing how the refreshed spaces will support their residents made the day even more rewarding for our crew.
“Granite State Painters generously donated not only the materials, but also their time to repaint the Liberty House dining and living room space. Their team did a superb job, and the painters themselves were wonderful young men who took great pride in completing this project for our veterans. We are incredibly grateful for their support and commitment to our mission.”
We’re incredibly proud of the work Dylan, Nick, Brody, and Matt put into this project, and even more grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that makes such a meaningful impact on local veterans. Brightening these shared spaces was a small way for us to say thank you to those who have served, and to contribute to the supportive, welcoming environment The Liberty House provides every day.
To the entire Liberty House team — thank you for the work you do, and for allowing us to be a part of your mission.
